Natural wine, made by two people a thousand metres up in the Blue Mountains.
Hat Hill Road · Blackheath NSW 2785
no added sulphites. no fining. no filtering. no fibs.
Disciple Wines is a small natural wine label from Blackheath, in the Blue Mountains of New South Wales. Tom and Jess make the wines at Hat Hill Road with nothing added and nothing taken away: no added sulphites, no shortcuts, nothing to hide.
That means picking when the fruit says so, letting the wild yeasts do the work, and bottling when it tastes right rather than when the calendar says. Some vintages are cloudy. Some are gone in a month.
The names are diary entries: where we were, what we were listening to, who we missed. Drink them the same way.

The place
Blackheath NSW
About 1,000 m above the sea · two hours west of Sydney
Blackheath sits near the top of the Blue Mountains line, around a thousand metres up, where the nights stay cold well into summer and the mornings arrive as fog. Hat Hill Road runs north out of the village toward the cliffs. That is where the wine gets made.
Visits are by arrangement. Write first.
Made on Dharug and Gundungurra Country.
The people
Tom and Jess make every bottle themselves: picking, pressing, waiting, bottling, hand-writing the corks. The wines are named for wherever their heads were that year.
They would rather you drank it than read about it.
